Date:        18 September 2011
Time: Approx.    1800 UTC – 1900 UTC
Location:     N-Colorado
Elevation:     4107 M / 13502 ft – 10 Points
Call Sign:     KØMOS/qrp
Frequency:     14.3200-ssb alt. frequency: 14.285-ssb (+/-QRM)

Plans might change depending on conditions. We got the first snow in Colorado  and the road to the trail-head (Old Fall River Road) was closed yesterday due to this fact. There is currently snow on all the peaks in the Mummy Range but I am hoping it will disappear until Sunday. I have a few fall-back summits in the area in case conditions are against me. If you work me, make sure to verify where I am – it might not be Fairchild Mountain.

Equipment: FT-817ND / vertical dipole (Buddipole)

Keep your ears/antennas pointed towards Colorado.

Thanks

Matt / KØMOS
