McConnel) \u2013 8020 ft \/ 2444 m &#8211; 3rd activation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just a few comments and pictures about today&#8217;s (May 7th, 2013) activation of Mount McConnel (<a title=\"SOTA information\" href=\"http:\/\/sotawatch.org\/summits.php?summit=W0C\/FR-088\" target=\"_blank\">W\u00d8C\/FR-\u00d888<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>It was a gloomy day in northern Colorado. Cloudy and rain throughout the day, windy and chilly at the summit (9:00 AM). It looked like it was snowing at Camron Pass.<\/p>\n<p>The campground where the trail-head is located is closed.
