It’s time to mothball the canoes and kayaks and get the snowshoes and pulka out. We got quite a bit of snow in CO in the last 14 days. WX is unclear for tomorrow and I might have to cancel again. Right now I am sitting in freezing fog but hopefully it will clear-up later on. Keep your ears/antennas pointed towards Colorado.

Plans might change depending on conditions. We got the first snow in Colorado  and the road to the trail-head (Old Fall River Road) was closed yesterday due to this fact. There is currently snow on all the peaks in the Mummy Range but I am hoping it will disappear until Sunday. I have a few fall-back summits in the area in case conditions are against me. If you work me, make sure to verify where I am – it might not be Fairchild Mountain.
